We're excited to announce the Beta launch of USDREFI — a liquid, onochain regenerative savings product that puts your stablecoins to work for the real world.
What is USDREFI?
USDREFI is built on Celo and designed around a simple premise: deposit USDC, receive USDREFI tokens at a 1:1 rate, and earn yield — generated not from leverage or speculation, but from real-world regenerative lending to smallholder farmers, cooperatives, and micro-entrepreneurs.
The gap in the market was clear. Stablecoin holders have long had no simple, liquid way to generate yield from purpose-aligned sources. Existing ReFi lending products require active management, long lock-ups, and hands-on reinvestment. USDREFI changes that. The vault handles all capital deployment, yield claiming, and reinvestment on your behalf — a true set-and-forget regenerative savings experience.
How It Works
The flow is straightforward. After verifying your identity you deposit USDC into the USDREFI vault and receive USDREFI tokens representing your position. Your capital is then deployed into curated regenerative credit positions — starting with Quipu, a Colombian AI-powered microcredit platform, via Textile infrastructure. Yield from real-world loans flows back monthly and is distributed as a combination of USDREFI and $REFI token rewards, claimable on-demand via on-chain Merkle proofs.
To exit, users swap USDREFI for USDC through the Uniswap V4 USDREFI/USDC pool, keeping the experience fully liquid.
Every dollar deposited feeds the USDREFI flywheel: yield splits between user rewards, protocol liquidity, and $REFI incentives — each stream converging back into regeneration and strengthening the system's capacity to grow.

USDREFI's development was made possible in part by a grant received through the Solution Development Grants Program (GG24), a $150K initiative run by Ethereum for the World, co-funded by Celo, the Ethereum Foundation, and Ma Earth. The program supports proven, open-source, onchain solutions that develop new SDG-aligned features and expand into new markets — a perfect fit for what USDREFI is building.
Being selected for this program reflects both the maturity of the solution and its alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals — particularly around reducing inequality, fostering economic growth, and advancing financial innovation for underserved communities.

The Beta is live. We invite stablecoin holders, ReFi participants, and impact-aligned investors to explore the vault, earn regenerative yield, and help us stress-test the system as we continue to expand into new credit markets and geographies.
